What Does The Webhook Feed Do?

Previously the ability to export a products retailer feed was available through Platform, which downloads a .csv file to the users system. The web hook feed produces the same data format as the retailer feed, however, it generates the data to a URL instead of a downloadable file. This allows for more automation on the users side and being able to directly send the received data to a destination, removing the need to export the data to a file and upload the data to the desired destination.
The webhook feed has been updated within Platform to now work with Zapier.

Setting up the Retailer:

  1. You must first go to the retailer account in the Platform.
  2. Go to the advanced settings tab on the left hand side of the screen.

  1. Scroll down to the webhook option near the bottom.
  2. Enter the desired webhook URL into the designated field named VPW Feed URL

The VPW feed URL connects to product data set by a retailer removing the need generate one of Kornit X purpose built Webhook feeds each time new products need to be listed. This allows for more automation on the users side and being able to directly send the received data to a destination, removing the need to export the data to a file and upload the data to the desired destination.

Using the Webhook feed:

  1. Go to Feeds within the Sales module of the Kornit X Platform.
  2. Select the products you wish to export.
  3. Click the feeds button in the bottom left, followed by the webhook option on the pop-up.

  1. Choose the retailer company you set up previously as well as selecting the correct currency you wish to generate

  1. Finally, you just need to generate the feed.
You may be prompted to create a dropship, if this is required it will create them and just ask the user to confirm or remove the dropships.

The Results of the export:

Once these steps have been completed the data will have been sent to the URL entered into the VPW Feed URL earlier. An example of this process had been created throughout, the data received using the webhook feature is in Json. The data received can be viewed below (Formatted from Json for convenience of the image).
