How To Prepare Categories For Integration Setup
The first step here is to locate the category of which you want to set this integration, naming the parent category "Akeneo Integration" would be a good starting point so its clear what the category is. To set the integration imply click the category and the menu below will be shown.
With the integrations simply click into the integrations and select Akeneo from the list as shown below.

We would advise creating a category structure exclusively for the product you are planning to send to Akeneo, with this sorting it will be easier within Platform to add products to the relevant categories. Details Needed To Enable Integration
Before the integration has been properly enabled you must enter the following details listed below. These details will be available from your Akeneo account and any SFTPs you have already set up and this must match within the settings
- Username
- Password
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- SFTP Host
- Port
- SFTP Username
- SFTP Password
Once these details have been added, simply save the integration and this will be saved. There are additional settings that can be enabled, we have detailed the meaning behind each one in the below table.
Setting Option | Setting Option | Description |
Is Testing Enabled | Toggle | This option should be enabled if the integration needs to be tested first, we suggest this used before properly enabling this integration as this ensures the products will pass from Akeneo. |
Start Timestamp | Input Field | When enabled this option will be updated with the current date and time of the integration in the YYYY-MM-DD-T00:00 format. This can be set manually if preferred. |
Available Marketplace | Input Field | Akeneo work with multiple different marketplaces and with this input field you can set and specify which available marketplace the products are coming from. Currently this integration works with "Zalando" and this is an example that can be set. |
Supplier Company | Dropdown | As mentioned before with this dropdown you can select the dropdown from "all companies" and search via either the name or ID. Once set this will target products in the categories with a matching supplier. |
Owner Company | Dropdown | Similarly to the Supplier Company dropdown with this one you can click the dropdown stating "all companies" and search via the name or ID. Once set this will target products within the category with a matching owner company.
