Feeds for Self Fulfillment

Feeds for Self Fulfillment

There are some products in VPW which are made available to be self fulfilled by retailers who have the production capabilities to do so.

In CPP every product under the "Basic Details" tab shows a "Self Fulfilment" tick box under "Production Type". If this box is ticked then that product is deemed as available for self fulfilment.

It is the process of generating a self fulfilment feed which creates the connections that allow orders to move to the self fulfilment supplier instead of the cpp products default so it is important to generate this feed even if the data does not actually need to be used for an import for example

To generate this feed you need to :-

1) Select the category in VPW that you want to export and set the search filter in the left side to "Available for Self Fulfilment"

2) Hit the "Feeds" button in the left side of the screen

3) Select your chosen feed format or ecommerce / marketplace platform from the list

4) From the dropdowns that appear select your Retailer company set up for the site / system that orders will be coming into OMS from and set the Self fulfilment company to your supplier company.

5) Complete any other feed specific options such as Currency (each feed has its own set of options specific to its intended use)

6) Hit the "Generate Feed" button at the bottom of the popup

7) If a dropship connection between the retailer and supplier does not exist the system will confirm this has been set up and you should again click "generate feed" to finish the process.

You can now proceed to add the products from the feed to your website and pushing orders into OMS. These orders will route to the self fulfilment supplier.
