What is Created in the Hot Folder

What is Created in the Hot Folder

Once you have set up the hot folder (there is an additional charge for this service) you have 2 options on how the hot folder is created

The following assets will be created dependant on whether you choose option 1 or 2

 

1. Categorisation by Date

a) Sub folders for each day 

b) Production sheet listing all jobs with barcodes for each day (production sheets can either be single page per product or multiple products listed on a page)

c) Artwork or Production Template for each job - dependant if artwork needs any additional processing

d) Each artwork file is numbered with Item ID so can be related to a production sheet

 

2. Categorisation by Product / Website

a) Root Folders for Website or Production Area

b) Then Sub Folders by machine or product

c) Production sheet listing all jobs with barcodes for each method (production sheets can either be single page per product or multiple products listed on a page)

d) Artwork or Production Template for each job - dependant if jobs being batched

e) Each artwork file is numbered with Item ID so can be related to production sheet
