Seller Portal Publish: Shopify

NOTE - shopify apps running connected to a seller portal need to have an additional redirect URL added into the shopify side app settings “https://{sellerportaldomain}/shopify/redirect. Multiple portals can be connected to a single app (when whitelabelling for example) but each portals URL must be present or it will error when trying to install.

A Kornit X Shopify app that is has gone through the approval process can be connected to a seller portal to allow for easy product publishing. (A Shopify app is needed but the process of approval does not mean it has to be available in the shopify extension store).

Seller Portals allow for shopify apps to be harnessed to publish in the following ways under their "Shopify Publish Type" which can be modified by platform admins :-

"Shopify Apps Default" - Will publish products however the shopify app itself is configured to do so, one of either POD or iframe based on its settings.

"Smartlinks" - If Smartlink is chosen the app will always publish a smartlink iframe using the Seller Portals override app layout, configuration and locale if there is one set and if not will take the defaults from the product itself.

"POD" - If POD is chosen then no iframe will show in shopify and the product always behaves like a standard shopify item.

"Choice on publish" - will allow users inside the seller portal to choose if the item is published as POD or Iframe. If POD is chosen then no iframe will show in shopify and the product behaves like a standard shopify item. If Smartlink is chosen the app will publish a smartlink iframe using the Seller Portals override app layout, configuration and locale if there is one set and if not will take the defaults from the product itself. See the user inteface below for this publish choice.

Iframe Examples-

POD Examples-

If products have multiple aspects then the Sellers Portal connection supports publishing with multiple thumbnails but will only do so if
- Print areas on the aspect has been populated
- Variants have both aspect options set on them (for example garments front and back) At this time we only support up to 2 images per variant.
