Production integration: hotfolder
Sending to production hotfolder
In Production > Jobs it is possible to send batches to a hotfolder, this need to be set up on the fulfilment company under the Production Inter tab.
On the integration it is possible to set it up to pass the files automatically to the hot-folder and set how often it runs.
it is also possible to set up a Preferred artwork format so that only that artwork type is passed.
An SFTP must be set up and added to the integration
When producing the products the machine operator will need to identify the batches that they need to download. Using filter options on the left hand side they must filter by fulfilment centre and by Machine (the relevant batch template).
This will then display all of the relevant batches which can be selected using the checkbox and from the dropdown click ‘Send to Production’.
This will then send the artwork and job sheets to a SFTP hotfolder (we will provide you with the details) and these items will be added into a folder named after the batch template.
This will then update the batch status to ‘In Production’ and remove the current list in Production.
All different batches will have their own folder within the hot folder.
Generic Hotfolder supports outputs from the Kornit QuickP Auto Crop RIP Integration and the files added to the hotfolder have the QuickP naming convention. This is useful for Kornit workflows not utilising our Floor Module

Generic Hotfolder Supplier Integration now has configurable pushable order status
This was added on 03-02-2020
Our Generic Hotfolder supplier integration was updated to include pushable order statuses as a default status to set against the integration. The two configurable options for this are "Received" and "Received By Shipper", as shown below.
