Product Integrations | What Are They?

This article has been written to explain what product integrations are in use with the Kornit X platform. This type of integration allows you to send products to multiple platforms and API channels connected via the advanced settings of product categories.
What Are Product Integrations?
The point of product integrations is to integrate products and categories onto marketplaces by setting product mapping, category mapping, owners and fulfillers,
An account will be needed with the marketplaces in order to let these work. Examples of the kind of information you need to set to get these to work include client IDs, username and passwords of these established connections.
Including Generic API , listed below are the notable marketplaces of which product integrations can be set.
- Salesforce (Import Only)
- SanMar
- Mirakl (Export Only)
- Fruugo (Export Only)
- Channel Advisor (Export Only)
- Walmart (Export Only)
- Wayfair (Export Only)
- PodSync (Import Only)
- Ebay
- Walmart Marketplace
- Akeneo (Import Only)
You will have noticed some integrations are labeled as either import or export only. The key difference between these 2 options are the following:
- "Import only"means that the products are being imported from their system into our platform.
- Alternatively "Export only" refers to products being exported from our platform into theirs.

How Do I Set Product Integrations?
Product Integrations can easily by set by heading to your product categories found within the Settings on the main platform page.
You will be greeted with your list view of your available categories, simply click into the category to set the integration.
The category will display the Basic menu by default but you can click into the "Integrations" tab.
Within the Integrations menu you will be greeted with the below view which highlights the available integrations that you can set against your category.
The list of Integrations will continue to grow, this article will feature the latest added platforms.
