Floor | Batch Dispatch
Batch Dispatch is a station in our Floor module.
This station allows the scanning of Batch barcodes or the entry of a Batch ID to trigger items on that batch to be dispatched and the printing of dispatch paperwork
Batch dispatch is only suitable under certain strict conditions. Job Templates must be set to SINGLE ITEM ORDERS ONLY, this is because consolidation is not possible through this, it must also be using AHEAD OF TIME dispatch generation. This is because the scanpoint will create a single multipage PDF for printing and will only take labels already generated, it will not make on demand calls to book shipments at point of scan.
In order for "Label" to work you must enable the following on your admin company - "Production2 / Batch Dispatch" > "Shipment PDF Field". Here you can select "Label".

When you scan the first time the screen will show the batch details and require a second scan to confirm and generate labels
NOTE - if scanning batches that are not suitable for this for of dispatch this error will show on screen
