Etsy - how to set up product listings to pass the orders to OMS

The Etsy integration will pull any orders and their attributes in to OMS as textual orders.

To set up the Etsy integration please see the sister article Etsy API Integration

Currently it is only possible to use POD style products and text based personalisation products.

When creating a listing in Etsy you must use the SKU that is set on the relevant product in CPP:

If the product has an variants (e.g. size) the variant SKU will need to be set  under the 'Variations' section on the listing.

If any additional variations are used on the listing there will need to be set up as attributes on the product in CPP.

When textual personalisation is required, Etsy can send one line of text on the item. This is done by turning on the 'Personalization' section on the listing, so when the customer enters data it is passed with the order.

Field mapping needs to be set up on the product as Etsy always passed the field 'Personalization'.

If a product has multiple text areas within CPP then you will need to select 'import required fields' onto the product and enter in the collected personalisation from the order before converting to a print job

Once this has all be set up then the order will pass correctly.
