CPP | Getting Started Guide | Section 7: Exports & Feeds

7.1 Accessing Exports, Imports, and Feeds
You can access these by going into product manager and looking towards the bottom left of the screen. 

 

7.2 Exports
The Exports function allows you to export your product data to a csv to review and/or amend information in bulk (examples attached)


A. Variants Export - The variants export will include id, SKU, Supplier, Variant SKU & ref, along with the associated attributes, Aspects or Print Size  that the variants are linked to. If there are no Variants present on the selected product, no csv will generate.

B. Personalisation Areas Export - This export will include Text & Image area information, such as the name of the personalisation area & the coordinates. It will also  include any text input restrictions that have been set i.e whole numbers only or ASCII Characters. The exports do not include Print Area details.

C. E-Commerce Data Export - This export includes all e-commerce data present on the selected products i.e description, lead time, weight with the exception of pricing.  plus the default configuration & app etc.

D. Legacy Tier Pricing Export -  This will include any cost price, RRP & Shipping cost present on the selected products. The tier price quantity denotes the price if volumes are purchased up to & including that quantity to allow for discounted price for higher volumes.

E. Attributes Export - This will include any attributes present on the selected products i.e name, values and whether the attributes are set as internal only or separate order line - These will be denoted by a 1 if true.


7.3 Imports
File's must be saved as type CSV UTF-8 (comma delimited) in Excel. Importing files makes it possible to update information for multiple products simultaneously. Please see attached example files for header row to use per import type.

 

A. Variants Import - The variants export file can be amended & re-imported to the selected products by id. Please ensure you keep the headers intact to prevent errors occurring

B. Personalisation Areas Import - The Personalisation Areas export file can be amended & re-imported to the selected products by id. Please ensure you keep the headers intact to prevent errors occurring

C. E-Commerce Data Import - The e-commerce data export can be amended & re-imported to the selected products by id. Please ensure you keep the headers intact to prevent errors occurring

D. Legacy Tier Pricing Import -  The Legacy tier pricing export can be amended & re-imported to the selected products by id. Please ensure you keep the headers intact to prevent errors occurring

E. Attributes Import - The attributes export can be amended & re-imported to the selected products by id. Please ensure you keep the headers intact to prevent errors occurring


7.4 Feeds

Feeds can be generated for any selection of products or Content. The feeds will include iframe urls for adding directly to your website or kiosk along with all associated e-commerce data where applicable. In addition to this, a dropship integration will be created and the associated supplier will be notified accordingly. It is still the responsibility of the retailer to contact the supplier directly to ensure trade arrangements are in place before sending any orders. Dropship Companies will automatically be set to On Hold (supplier). it can be approved simply by changing the Default Status under Advanced Settings to Received.

 

A. Amazon Marketplace - Export Product data that can be imported directly into Amazons Marketplace

B. Amazon Custom - Export products data that can be imported to create Amazon Custom Products

C. Retailer - Export products data in a variety of formats ready for import into an e-Commerce solution

D. Magento - Export product data ready for import into Magento 1 and 2

E. eBay - Export product data ready to import into eBay

F. Shopblocks - Export product data ready for import into Shopblocks
